About Me
Building web-development skills on a foundation of information technology
I combine formal IT education and hands-on homelab experience with developing skills in HTML, CSS, responsive design, and GitHub-based deployment.
I hold an associate degree in information technology and am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in IT. My homelab uses Proxmox and Linux virtual machines to provide media streaming, network storage, secure remote access, reverse-proxy services, monitoring, and Ansible-based automation. Maintaining these systems has strengthened my troubleshooting, networking, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
After delivering a paid website for ScapeLift Property Management, I discovered that I especially enjoy building technology people can see and use. I am now strengthening my front-end foundations while using my IT background to approach websites as complete systems that must be reliable, accessible, responsive, and maintainable.
